I've been working on the wheel pants. I haven't been as good as usual with the camera...sorry 'bout that. The wheel pants install just as the plans and construction manual tell you how to do it. It's not very complicated, just a little time consuming. At this point I had drilled everything, and I was in the process of bulking up some of the areas where the wheel pants will attach to the brackets.

Here's what I'm talking about...I added a patch of many plies of fiberglass to build that area up by about 3/32" to 1/8" in thickness. You can kind of make out two "crosshairs" that are marked on the other side (the outside). Those are marks that I made to reference the exact centers of the holes in the brackets. I wanted to have a good reference for re-drilling these holes after adding the fiberglass "patches."

Here's an idea I'm stealing from lots of RVers out there. 1/2" schedule 40 PVC pipe, tees, elbows, and caps. Cut lengths and get materials as follows:

They go together like this to make a nice lightweight, easy to place wheel chock.

Bada bing bada boom.
